The Cocktail Shakers were formed by Kevin Conover in the summer of 2006. They've gone through several bass players until Andy responded to an online ad. With 2/3 of the line-up on the same page, all that was left was to find a drummer that had the same attitude and drive that Kevin and Andy have. That's when they met Gary Weiss (Vibro-Champs, Highway-13, etc.) With the line up complete, they're quickly building a following, not only with the Pittsburgh Rockabilly crowd, but also with anyone that likes real American music. The Cocktail Shakers run the Rockabilly Riot, a monthly Rockabilly Show in the Pittsburgh area. It's every 3rd Friday of the month at Howler's Coyote Cafe in Bloomfield, PA.
